Here Is some info on the car

Once I got my other race car completely paid off, I decided to build a blown altered.  I looked for several months on various web sites until I found this great looking car on racingjunk.com for $10,500 rolling.  The car was exactly what I was looking for.  It had a lay back style chassis with a Strange top loader rear end and less than 30 complete passes on the chassis.  When I found out that the car was 1500 miles away in the far west of Canada, I decided that I didn't have the time or capability get it.  After seeing the car for a couple more months still on the web, I decided to call the owner and find out more about it.  It turns out that the chassis had less than 30 full runs on it and had been sitting is this guy's basement since '91 when he blew the engine up.  He gave me bottom dollar of $9,500 for the rolling chassis.  This is when I decided to go shopping for a car hauling company.  Passport Transport agreed to pick the car up from Washington state and bring it to my front door for $1,200.  I bought the car after only seeing it from a video I had the owner send me.  It was everything that the seller had promised.

Soon after I got the car, Dad and I welded on all necessary tabs on so I could get the chassis powder coated.  We had the California custom chassis powder coated a deep metallic purple and bright orange "silver vain" style coating.  The color actually appears to change in different lighting from a dark purple to orange to pink.  So it is pretty neat.  The body was painted by a friend's dad of mine, Buddy Weller.  I designed the paint scheme and he laid it out exactly how I wanted it.  Colors used were Dupont Hot Hues Purple Rhapsody and PPG Sunfire.  The engine built by me is a 496 ci big block Chevy style engine.  I will not tell what combination was used to get this ci displacement, but it ought to rap some serious RPM.  Engine components consist of Merlin block, Billet Fabrication 2 piece oil pan, Billet Fabrication engraved valve covers, Crower steel rods, Crower top fuel crank, Arias top alcohol pistons, Dykes stainless rings, Jim Oddy prepped Pro Topline heads, Jessel rocker arm system, Isky cam, Donovan gear drive, Blower Shop 8-71 hi helix stripped supercharger with Enderle bird catcher and a Mallory Super Mag 3. I bought a Coan ultimate big dog power glide guaranteed to hold over 2,000 HP rather than building my own.

Best time to date is 7.13 @ 192 with a best 60' time of 0.983  My goal is 6.99 @ 200
